A Thursday poem "Autumn rains"

Yesterday I was studying the book of Joel, (NIV version) and this poem came to me. Read and be blessed.

Autumn rains

send the autumn rains
let the rivers flow
the same rains you speak of
in the book of Joel

let your rains come down
fill our thirsty souls
bring revival to your land
let your spirit flow

cleanse us with your rains
wash our hearts and souls
with your autumn rains
refresh and make us whole

let your rain fall down
our eyes flood with tears
all guards we lay down
relinquish all our fears

autumn rains please come
our hearts thirst for you
autumn rains are coming
all things will be made new
